In the summer months, our guests are inspired by the sporting character that is inherent in our region. Hikes offer unforgettable impressions, which all too often culminate near the summits. In the shade of the rock formations, the crystal-clear waters of Lake Traunsee offer a wide range of water sports. If you would like to explore our recreational area in a hurry, we recommend taking a look at its extensive cycling and mountain bike trails. These will guide you through the green heart of the Salzkammergut.
During the cold season, our local mountain, the Feuerkogel, shows its best side: the beautiful high plateau is home to one of the most diverse skiing areas in Austria. Its extensive slopes welcome winter sports lovers of all ages and levels.

Muscles and joints can relax optimally after active exercise, and the soul also enjoys the quiet feel-good moments and recharges its batteries. You don't even have to get into the car for such a pampering cure, because we have a small wellness oasis!
At the Landhotel Post Ebensee, a modern organic alpine salt sauna awaits you with a soothing humidity of about 55 percent and a temperature of around 60 degrees: ideal for taking a deep breath, switching off and enjoying. On request, the sauna can of course also be heated in the classic Finnish way.
